Burglary

-Appeal for witnesses-

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Harmanswater, Bracknell.

Between around 8.30am and 4.45pm on Tuesday 10 July 2018 offenders gained entry to a house in Firlands. Access appears to have been gained into an enclosed rear garden by climbing over a fence, from where the offenders were able to climb in through an insecure ground floor window.

Once inside the offenders the offenders made a search of the upstairs rooms  where they located and stole a quantity of cash.

Investigating officer C7224 Vicky Burgess said “ We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43180209759.

If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact “Crimestoppers” anonymously and free of charge on 0800 555 111. It is an independent charity, no personal details will be asked for, calls are not recorded or traced and you would not have to go to court.

keep your home safe

During the current hot weather only leave windows  and doors open whilst your home is actually occupied, burglars love to find properties that they don’t actually have to break into, and can either walk into and readily reach or climb into.
